I had my first book published yesterday! You can get it at Miniclick online shop no matter which country you’re in, they ship worldwide. I’m so pleased with it that I’ll make a video preview and post it here tomorrow.
Jim Stepehenson and his Miniclick liked my photos taken on film cameras in India so much, that they decided to print a selection of them in a publication, which is launching tomorrow. There’s an event about it, where I’ll do a little talk about the pictures and stories behind them. If you’re around, please come.
The publication will be available for purchase online, I’m going to post the link here later.
I’ve spent most of January 2014 in India, travelling from Mumbai to Delhi. There is a brand new blog dedicated to describe that journey, if you are interested, have a look: inandoutofindia.wordpress.com
I’ve been a bit quiet here in the last few months, partly due to the fact that I can’t find a decent place to process and scan my negatives and partly due to my computer being broken. I hope this post will restart this blog and I will try to show some new pictures here.
The photo of me burning leaves was taken by Alanna Jones.
I’ve recently re-stocked our fridge with a fresh batch of my favourite cheap film: Fuji C200. All these photos are taken on it in the last month or so.
Every year, in early December, hundreds of people play on a field near my hometown,
trying to reconstruct the battle of Austerlitz.
I have hundreds of pictures I made in the past few months which are still waiting to be posted. To be honest, I’m not sure they’ll ever make it to this blog. This post shows pictures from my last visit to the Czech republic in April. The photo of me sitting in front of recycling bins was taken by Everett Felson.
