Great pics of London, but might I suggest not displaying them that way? It’s a pain to have to click on each one to see them better; perhaps displaying them all in regular format but just in a slightly smaller size? :)
Looking at your interesting photos brings back memories
of my stay in U.K. I wish to return, someday perhaps.
I studied there on a scholarship grant and I can still
vividly recall memorable sights from my study-tour.
May I share one of the poems I wrote
on my sojourn there:
“LEARNING IS EARNING
(Cranfield University*,
Bedfordshire, England)
lush English countryside –
serene setting of idyllic beauty;
i am charmed…
rustic and bucolic,
rural and pastoral.
from volcanic sands of Mt. Mayon
to pomp and heraldry of London
to cool Cranfield I move on.
Dark and bright. Gloomy and cheerful. Old and tired but young and energetic. Mysterious and magical. Your photographs capture pretty much what every English person has told me about the country. Hopefully, I’ll be able to visit soon! Great shots!
Thank you guys for all the attention, comments and likes, I really appreciate every single one of them! I’ll try to reply personally bit later.
This is my very personal view on Brighton (and few shots from the New Forest) where I was living for past year or so.
It’s all shot on Olympus µ[mju:]-II ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympus_Stylus_Epic ) which is wonderful point and shoot 35mm film camera.
Add me on flickr if you are interested http://www.flickr.com/aermiks
Thank you very much again!
Usually I don’t read post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very compelled me to check out and do so! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thank you, quite nice post.
Nice pictures. I am from England and seeing this blog makes me want to go back there soon to see my friends and family. Seem as if ya’ll haven’t cleaned the house in awhile. haha jk.
The thing about watching an individual’s photos of a place (as oppose to like a brochure) is that you feel as if you have lived their experience through the photos, and even for a moment, that you might have been there, and cant wait to go back.
I lived in Scotland for 2-years when I was a teen back in 1984. I only got to London 3 times but yet I was able to travel around the entire country. What an awesome place. I would love to go back some day.
Fantastic!
Thank you, you know I appreciate your comment :)
Cute! Is that a Jeep on the right side a little bit down? It looks pretty cool. Popped out at me lol.
I love your post — I feel like I just looked through someone’s family photo album; the pix were equal parts personal and beautiful! :)

Great shots. Brought back my memories of England. Simplicity English.

I had a nice momentary trip to England, thanks.
wow, I guess these are the realistic photos, not the picture-perfect postcards. Nice job :-)
