I’ve been a bit quiet here in the last few months, partly due to the fact that I can’t find a decent place to process and scan my negatives and partly due to my computer being broken. I hope this post will restart this blog and I will try to show some new pictures here.

The photo of me burning leaves was taken by Alanna Jones.

In and around the new place

Posted in blog by ondra loup on 28/06/2013

It’s not even two months since we moved into the new flat, so it still feels fresh. These photos were taken in our hallway, out of our living room window, and at the top of our street.

I’ve recently re-stocked our fridge with a fresh batch of my favourite cheap film: Fuji C200. All these photos are taken on it in the last month or so.

The Ten Seconds Project

Posted in blog by ondra loup on 04/05/2013

I took part in the Ten Seconds Project initiated by photographer Alma Haser. This is the result.
The quality of the video is terrible, but I’m really enjoying how it captured the sound of the shutter.

This roll happened to run through my camera a few months ago, and stayed unprocessed until a few weeks ago. The only detail I can give you is that the picture of Ewen Spencer wearing my jacket and me wearing his jumper was taken by Sofia Mifsud.

The acts of the flash.

Posted in blog by ondra loup on 07/03/2013

I got a job as a photographer recently. It mainly means taking hundreds of photos per night of people getting drunk and getting closer to each other. To keep my mind on top of things, I’ve started a new blog, where I’ll post the pictures which for some reason stand out from all the rubbish.

The acts of the flash.

Darkness in the Church

Posted in blog by ondra loup on 19/02/2013

A few weeks ago, a series of strange events led me and Alanna to a church, alone, at night.
I couldn’t help but take a few photos.

Street Photography

Posted in blog by ondra loup on 06/02/2013

Last night, I attended another Miniclick talk, this time by the mighty street photographer Matt Stuart. It was great fun and I got a lot of inspiration from him in those few hours. In my opinion it’s one of the most difficult photography disciplines. Every so often, I try my luck. This is one of the latest attempts.

I have plenty of unposted snapshot films and this one is the most recent, ending on New Years Eve with the Physics House Band in Sticky Mikes Frog bar.
